Most of us at sometime in our lives would have had milk delivered to our doorstep each day at the crack of dawn by an electric milk float. Following on from horse drawn milk carts these "modern" and "innovative" vehicles were specifically designed to carry a heavy load for up to 30 miles or so, as silently as possible, so as not to wake you up. They were an everyday sight from the late 50's onwards, however with the huge growth of supermarkets along with new modern packaging and the siesmic changes in the way we shop for food has led to the virtual extinction of the iconic milkfloat and milkman. Floats are now a very rare sight on our streets yet these milkman and their floats are part of our social history and like London buses are truly iconic and need preserving and made relevant once again.

We retain a regular stock of interesting and rare floats as well as some other unusual electric vehicles which are available for hire for film, advertising and promotional work. In addition to fully restored vehicles we also have ready to work floats and a stock of floats that are available to restore, improve or adapt to individual customer requirements.

Being tax, MOT,congestion zone and "T" charge exempt make these vehicles as relevant now, ( if not more so now ), than back in the day.
